Why Probiotics
The best way to describe probiotics is to imagine your skin as a garden.
If it only had one thing in it, such as one type of flower, take away the soil, take away the other plants, take away the insects. It wouldn't last very long on it's own. It needs an abundance of diversity to make it thrive. It needs soil, rich in nutrients and bugs, it needs other plants, it needs trees, grass, sun, water, air and many other things.
If we look microscopically at our skin it is the very same. There is and should be a garden of diversity of different cells living on the skin barrier. The skin needs to be nurtured like a garden, with a mix of probiotic bacteria and fungus, postbiotics, prebiotics and many other things to remain healthy.
Squeaky uses probiotics, prebiotics and postbiotics that are targeted to support the skin barrier to keep it healthy and revitalised. The same way humans need to care for their skin barrier, we need to care for our dogs too.
